My research indicates this toy was manufactured by Ranger Steel Products Corporation in Long Island, New York, U. Sometime between 1930 to the 1940s. It measures 14 long by 5 wide. It appears to be in great condition with very little oxidation. It is missing the nine balls that it original came with and part of the wind up mechanism is gone from the rear. It still displays handsomely from the front and would make a great addition to any collection. It would be fairly easy to find a wind up mechanism from this period if some body found it necessary to restore it to working condition.
