Brunswick Pfister Ball Return Circa 1896 9′ Pool Table Restored

This Vintage Brunswick Circa 9 foot pool table has been fully restored, just a beautiful piece with gorgeous wood grain and vibrant stain. This has the subway ball return, back in the day Brunswick was marketing this table to women, they would have ads with women in long dresses playing at this table. They would place a basket underneath the ball return, a lever is pulled and the balls drop into the basket. The baskets containing the balls is then lifted and the balls are retrieved. The table is located in Newbury Park CA at the West State Billiards & Gamerooms store (formerly Billiards and Barstools). Any questions, please ask. 1893 Brunswick antique pool table – 9′ x 4′ 11 the label reads Pfister – trade mark – registered June 20, 1893. This beautiful pool table has 3 slate slabs (intact). C1895 antique Quartersawn oak Brunswick pool table pfister model 6 legs 9 L

Quartersawn oak- pfister model – this one is the six leg model. Has newer felt – and the leather bag balls are also newer. Barrel cavity & legs could use a good polish. Original Quartersawn oak pool cue rack will go along with the table. Table has been moved from the hall it was photographed in. Skates need to be reset & the felt needs to be laid down. Original in a Knights of Columbus hall in north central CT. Will need to be picked up in Vernon CT. 1890’s Antique Brunswick Balke Collender Billiard Pool Table in Quarter Sawn Oak. This is the 4 legged model with 3 section slates that are 1.5 inches thick each. The rail tops are of Brazilian Rosewood with fantastic color depth to them, with real 1800’s pearl rail sights!! Carved florals at the feet of each leg and sweeping lines from the floor all the way to the rails. Only the lucky few had a vintage quality billiard table in its day like this. A nice addition for a game room, or man’s trophy room!!! Note I have also listed a fantastic pair (2) of matching Quarter Sawn Oak Spectator Stools that match perfectly!!!! Antique Brunswick Billiards Pool Table 9′ Pfister

I will have more pics in a few days but putting some early thumbnails out for consideration. Just had this table consigned to me for resale and boy is it a beauty. Longtime executive moving to smaller home and no room for this classic Brunswick’Pfister’ model from the 1890’s. This is a full size 9 footer in African ribbon mahogany and finished in a gloss lacquer by well known restoration company a few years ago. Hardly used over the past 10 years and needs nothing but a new home that will appreciate a table of this quality. Carved florals at the feet of each leg and sweeping lines from the floor all the way to the rails in an engineering and design masterpiece. This body style was used in two other classic Brunswick models and remained popular for 30 years in the early 20th century. The finest homes of the day were host to tables of this vintage and quality. Now it will reside in a modern home styled for the era and this table will fit any type of decor. 1 inch slate in three pieces. Some of these models were 6 legged versions with 1 1/2 thick slate. Thankfully, this is the 4 legged version. I will deliver this table anywhere in the USA or have it delivered by professional billiard mechanic for proper installation. Rail tops are Brazilian rosewood with real 1800’s ivory railsights. Slates are like new. Very heavy base and cabinet. This is a great design and a marvel in engineering when you consider it was made before the invention of the electric light bulb or the automobile. This table can be delivered within 2 weeks because it needs nothing except a little freshening.
